| Evan S. Lederman, MD
Dr. Lederman is an expert in
arthroscopic and orthopedic surgery, and sports medicine. He earned his medical degree in 1989 at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee,
and completed residency in orthopedic surgery at the Medical College of
Wisconsin and affiliated hospitals in 1995. Dr. Lederman took fellowship
training in arthroscopic surgery and sports medicine at the prestigious
American Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham, Alabama.
Dr. Lederman has been practicing in Phoenix, Arizona since 1996. He is
board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons and has years
of experience with specialty training in sports medicine, arthroscopic and
minimally invasive arthroscopic assisted and reconstructive surgery of the
shoulder, knee, elbow, ankle, and hip.
He has presented on sports medicine topics for various universities and
organizations across the country and has been an integral part of research
in the sports medicine field throughout his career. Dr. Lederman has
served as team physician and has cared for athletes at all levels of
participation.
He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, American
Medical Association, American Sports Medicine Institute Fellowship
Society, US Arthroscopy Council, Arizona Orthopedic Society, Maricopa
County Medical Society, and currently serves as vice chief of surgery at
Arrowhead Hospital.
